I posted this on the GCW forums and have gotten no responses, so I thought I would post it here as well. I was wondering how a non-combatant like a Medic or Doctor worked with Battlefields. Do they still get XP and Faction Points for helping out? Can they heal NPCs? Or are battlefields combat-only?

Thanks.

When you go into a battlefield, you have to pick a side, rebel or Imp.

Once you have chosen a side, for the duration of the battle, you are considered a full fledge member. So everthing that would normally apply under the GCW rules would now apply to you.

To be more specific:
You will be able to heal the faction that you chose.
You will be able to heal NPC's from the faction that you chose.
You will not be able to heal the opposing side.
You will get medical xp at the normal rate.
You will get FP's based on the battlefields rules, and they will apply to the faction that you chose when you entered.
