I'm fast running out of skill points and finalising my character. I need some advice/opinions to help me decide over going up to the third tier in either First Aid or Pharmacology.

As I understand it with First Aid I get better heals per stim. I'm currently using self crafted Stim B's.

However if I drop First Aid and go up to the third tier in Pharmacology I could craft Stim C's experimenting on the use trait to bring it below 30.

So, am I better off using Stim B's with First Aid up to third tier, or should I drop First Aid, take up Pharmacology to third tier and use fairly basic Stim C's instead?

Appreciate any comments on this. I intend to continue crafting the majority of my stims and do not have lots of experimentation points available (as I only have Organic Chem 4). But will buy small supplies of Doctor made ones for emergencies.

You may want to at least consider dropping O-Chem, and just buying doctor-crafted meds. Then you can get FA and Pharm. Spend less time crafting inferior meds, and more time doing the stuff you really want to be doing.

Stim C's with less First Aid will give you much better heals than Stim B's with more First Aid. However, the ability to heal bleeding comes at FA 2, and lots of people would say that you are safer with that ability than with the better stim use.

This question comes up a lot on this board (try checking out other threads), but I think the consensus is that you will be happier with FA2, so you can heal bleeding. So if you can't get Pharm 3 and FA 2, you might as well go for the FA all the way.

Regarding dropping crafting stims, I quite enjoy this even though they are inferior to Doctor made ones.

I really must urge you to drop OCIV, this is a large waste of your skill points that could be put to much better use. No doubt you worked hard to get it up to there, I know I did, but none the less, you will be happier, IMNSHO, if you drop it and focus on Phar IV and FA IV.

My advice, check the local bazaar and see what kind of stims you can buy and at what prices. Depending on where you are based out of, sometimes there are incredible deals on really good stims(The kind that you could never make, unless you went to doctor or got really lucky). If you do this you will get alot more bang for your buck.
