There are med use skill tapes but they do not work for medics....

Besides, you do not get the /healdamage command without novice medic

starting April 27, you WILL be able to own a droid that is capable of healing you using Stm A's. You wont need any medic skills, but you will need a High level Medic or Doctor friend to re-load the droid periodically with new stims.

So if you get med use skill tapes w/o Novice Medic ... could you then use Stims? Or is there no way around getting Novice Medic other than a Driod?

Ther is no way of getting around it besides the droid. Med use and CM med use tapes do not work. The Devs have stated they will never work because they are too overpowering.

OK, I can buy that, Pip. The "too overpowering" part.

Then why are the blasted things still taking up database space? Why are they still being dropped?

Of course, I could ask the same question about the grenadier's belt that's dropped on one of the theme park quests that has skill modifiers for skills that were removed from the game in beta...

Amateur hour in Austin, that's what SWG is.
