If I craft using the food and chemical crafting tool and my inventory is full it comes up with a system message saying "Output hopper not functioning because inventory is full... Make room" or something like that. So I clear some room in my inventory... get rid of some stuff... but this does nothing. Now, if I go to use my crafting tool again it won't let me use it and a system message informs me that the crafting toolis waiting for the output hopper to empty.... but there is room in my inventory. I have to destroy the crafting tool and make a new one. Am I doing something wrong?

Click and hold on the too, and above the option to "start crafting" if you hold over "start crafting" another choice will come up to empty the hopper, try that

Click the tool, then hold over Start Crafting. Another option will pop up: "Empty Output Hopper," click on this and you will be set.
I had the same thing happen to me a few days ago.
