Thread: Can anyone /drag a corpse?
1) Who can drag a corpse (ie, does /consent need to be given)
2) Does faction matter? (can a Rebel /drag an Imperial Corpse? and can consent, if necissary, be given to an opposing side? and can it be given to both sides?)
3) What is the drag measure in meters?
Thanks in Advance to those that reply,

The /drag command is in diagnostics 2 (medic). Consent is needed if the medic is not grouped with the incapped/dead player.
2) Does faction matter? (can a Rebel /drag an Imperial Corpse? and can consent, if necissary, be given to an opposing side? and can it be given to both sides?)
Faction does matter. A rebel cannot drag an overt Imperial (or vice-versa). You can drag coverts of the opposite faction, though.
3) What is the drag measure in meters?
Range increases as you progress in medic, and doctor. It starts at 10 m (I think, it's been a looong time since I was at that level). Master medics have 20m, master doctors have 30m.

My friend and I are both neutral and I get the "it would not be wise to help such a patient" message if I try to drag him. Anyone got any ideas on that?

Being grouped is automatic /consent. It's better to be grouped as there have been some bugs with the /consent list recently.

There is also a bug that a Covert member of a faction (Imp or Reb) can not be dragged by a neutral medic. You may get the "It would be unwise...." message. I have had this happen to me several times.

I believe that this is 30M at Master Medic. Thereare no more bonuses in the Doctor or Combat Medic professions.

No, it's 20m at master medic. This is a point of contention for CMs who can't drag from as far away as docs can. For some reason, docs were given the increased drag range instead of CMs getting it.
Personally, I think CM's should be able to drag 60M, since they are suppose to be the masters of keeping a group alive in combat.Easy way to keep someone alive is tobe able to pull them out of harms way when they get incapped.

just curious, but if the drag limit is 20m is it possible to drag further by doing it more than once?
Yes.
There is something seriously wrong with being able to pull a guy at 60m, especially when you the maximum range of a gun is about 60m. I suppose you can make an argument that 60m is reasonable for balance reasons, but honestly, that's ridiculous in most other trains of thought.
