Can't think of any posts on how to use a factory, but it's very simple
Input Credits.
Input Power
Craft a Schematic (IE 8 Inorganic 8 Organic)
Say you want to may 1000 of said item.
You will then goto the Radial (factor) and choose a Schematic (can't remember the exact wording).
Then go to the Input Hopper, and put 8000 inorganics / organics in the hopper.
Then Start Manufacture.
When you get an email saying its done...its done. To get to the Output (and only the output hopper) while the factory is kicking, just do Radial and then "Options".
Hope that helps

As MyT_Chicken already stated, you don't have to stop a factory to access the output hopper. Just select 'Options' from the radial menu. That opens the output hopper by default.

Honestly, I am nota Med crafter - I only have part of medic for healing myself and other members of my group and I fork out a few hundred grand every few months for my supply of high power stim B's. Now my question is for a guild member of mine, he is looking to master doctor and bought a medical factory - but neither him or myself know how to use it. Please, if someone could post a link to a guide or write up there own it would be much appreciated.
Thanks-
PS. I can't search for a guide because I always get the message "Too many searches are in progress" so please refrain from flaming me about not going to another post.

Obviously you need to find a place to put the factory. Once it's down, you need to load it up with maintenence, fuel, a schematic, and ingredients. Lastly, you need to remember to TURN IT ON (sadly something that I sometimes forget to do)
MAKING A SCHEMATIC: You need to be near a crafting station - public, private, or in a droid, it doesn't matter. Now you make the item with the ingredients you plan to use in the factory. Experiment with it as you wish (all the items made by the factory will have the same stats as this item), but don't make a prototype item. Choose "create a manufacturing schematic" instead. You don't really have to worry about the manufacturing limit. If the schematic is for personal use, setting it to 1000 will be fine. This means that a maximum of 1000 units of whatever your making will be made. It will load the schematic to your datapad, under "Data."
AT THE FACTORY: Maintenence is paid in credits, like everything else. You also need to deposit power - wind energy has been sufficient for me, but I am no major crafter, so you may want to invest in better fuel (either solar or radioactive). At the radial menu, you need to go under 'Options' to access the ingredient hopper and the schematic slot. You put your resources (the same ones you used to make the schematic) in the ingredient hopper. Be sure you put enough of each resource you need to make the number of items you want. You also need to load your schematic into the factory. The factory will only take one schematic at a time. Then you start it up and wait for it to churn out your stuff.
If the factory stops for any reason, you'll recieve an e-mail stating why. Either you ran out of ingredients, fuel, or it has made the maximum number of items for that schematic. The factory won't eat up your extra resources so you don't have to worry about that. I heard once that there was a bug concerning this, so you may want to just put in however many ingredients you need and keep the surplus on yourself, just in case.
PICKING UP YOUR ITEMS: If your factory is still running, you need to turn it off. Then go to the radial menu -> options -> access output hopper. Your items will be in crates, ready to use.
That should be everything you need to know. I apologize for poor organization or incompleteness - I kind of wrote this in haste.
