Thread: Medic Missions??? Status???

Meretseger,
Any news as to when or if Medic Missions are coming? The Medic community has only been asking for these for 18 months now only to be ignoredthe whole time. Several ideas have been posted on these forums for a long time. The Devs have been adding alot of new things to the game lately, but they continue to ignore issues from over a year and a half ago. I have already decided to stop healing all together until these missions are placed with appropriate mission payouts.

Medic Missions? Medical Content? What's that?
Sorry, a bit on the... slightly angry... side at the moment. But, honestly, don't hold your breath. We haven't gotten anything yet and probably won't for a while...

I'm still not dropping this issue. I will continue to file feedback on this until the issue is addressed. Even if nobody else believes in the missions.

Aye Texxie, ya pretty much summed it all up nicely there. The moment there is no active development in medic missions and there been little to no positive word of any work been done directly with the medic profession while the main focus is directed towards the Combat Upgrade..
But we will try to get something worked out to let the medics of the galaxy get their share of the money pie.

Not telling you to stop, Travin. Just letting you know where we stand as far as Medic Missions go. Keep up the fight, but know that you may just be railing against an obstinate wall of silence...

Well it's a little hard to keep up the fight when the Medic Correspondent won't stand up to fight for it. I have been asking for these missions for 18 months, and there has been suggestions on this forum for at least a year, and someone has to fight for it. You can't make a living in this game on tips, especially when most players think that Medics owe them free heals. I tell everyone that I won't heal them for less than 10K since I consider that my mission. I'm going to keep submitting feedback everyday asking for this, but the Correspondent has to fight for it, or the idea gets no voice. Has this idea even been suggested on the Correspondent forums in the last 3 months? Maybe it's time to bring it up again.

I agree....The correspondent has been a little....loose in posting as of late. I don't think anyone is expecting 24 hour service from you guys, but....post something. I realize this forum is not very popular as far as posting, but it would be nice to see the Corr's and Blue Glowy's back up the regular posters every once in a while even if its just saying the same thing, or adding something we forget.

I'll be honest with you folks, as always. I've been busy in RL as of late(one reason why I stepped down from CM Corre) and haven't had much time to check the forums regularly. The time I do have has been spent fighting for the medical profs in other arenas(read that as you will).
Do I want medic missions? Yes. Do I think we deserve them? Yes. Do I think they will ever happen? Not for a while. Does that mean they shouldn't be asked for? Not in the least.
And yes, it has been pretty quiet on the Blue front as of late...in more instances then I'd care to admit.
Keep up the fight, fellas...good luck....

Why should they not be right around the corner? Have you noticed everything that's been put in the game in the last 3 months? If the Correspondent would take the time to post and fight for what the profession wants and be a leader these could be in the next publish. However we haven't gotten a single word that the Medic Correspondent has even posted this in the Correspondent forums. I have more posts in this forum than our Correspondent has total. I just want the Correspondent to give us an update, and let us know why we're not good enough to fight for, or step aside to let someone else fight for the community that cares.

I understand you're passionate about this. And I also know that since I'm the only one from 'that' side of things responding that I'll be the one getting the brunt of the feedback, but wether or not you wish to believe it I am on your side...

Vortexala, I know you are on our side, but the Medic Correspondent hasn't posted on this forum in over 2 weeks. I think it's time for someone else to take the lead. This needs to be pushed to the Devs with extreme viciousness. The Medic community can't continue with a leader that won't fight or even talk to us.
