I am A medic and I have noticed And been told that wounds will recover on their own while in camp. I looked over the book and it says medics are the only way to heal wounds. So if this is true is a bug or what because that kind of makes medics point less dosn't it???

Somebody in a different thread said that wounds recovered in camps during beta but that has changed since.. Now the only way is by a medic at a camp or med center. Correct me if I'm wrong??

I noticed the same thing, my wounds automatically healed when we camped.

Wounds still heal automatically in camps as they did in Beta, but they heal a lot slower than they did. I think that is what they changed, but I could be mistaken.

Hmm, I could swear autoheal was still working in medical centers. The way this worked in beta was, every ten minutes (maybe only five?) the med center or scout camp would heal ten wounds in all your stats. In the med center this healing rate was slow enough that it didn't really cut into the medic business, if you came in with hundreds of wounds it would take hours for the med center to heal your wounds. Scout camp healing was a little more problematic because it meant that combat generally got all of their battle wounds healed by the scout camps and never came into the med center, the only real source of wounds was cloning away from your bind point. I haven't been in a scout camp since beta so I don't know if that is still working.
