Thread: Med Pricing Thread
Let's try to use this thread to figure out some stable prices for various medicines in game. A lot of people I have talked to want to know how much packs are worth. Since the game is pretty new the prices aren't stable. So let's try to put our heads together and get price ranges for the different packs.
My orginal thoughtwas
A packs should be from 150-250 depending on charge and effectiveness
B packs which require almost twice the resources (and water which is a pain to get IHMO) and has twice the charges almost should be 450-600 depending on charge and effectiveness
C packs im thinking should cost 750-800 since they require only slightly more resources than B pack but require a terminal and have more charges.
D onwards i have yet to make so I cant say yet.
What are others thoughts on this? How much are you selling you packs for?
For a lack of pricing knowledge, I have been selling A's at 100 credits per.... I do not sell any B's as I prefer to use them in the clinic...
I figure I buy my organics at 5 creds per and I sample by own inorganics, but if I was to apply 5 creds per each of those, you are look at 80 total credits and selling at 100 is a 25% markup....
Now I do like your prices better, but will they sell at that?

Oh, I have always been under the sell at cost to make idea instead of effectiveness. I kinda look at the effectiveness as a reason to come to me.... Its not like I will make a worse product to sell for less......
it's not exactly a 25% markup there. you forgot the 20 credit posting fee for the bazaar. So you're making 5 credits per unit you've dug up/aquired. That's a fair price I think. When the first Chem factory hits' I'm sure there will be a slew of 36 credit Stim A's, that's 20 credits for the posting (bonuses for those who are in the merchant profession) and 1 credit per unit on the materials.
I have put my spares on the bazaar at :
StimA- 100
Medpack A - 150
StimB - 300
Medpack B - 400
I've been selling well so far but then again in my area I am the only one selling them on the bazaar, I didn't want to rip anyone off but wanted a fair profit on my time.
Also been selling spare resources for about 3cr each (stacks of 100).
Stim A i would basically give away for free lol i could make 100 in an hr.
Im just interested in howm uch higher backs willbe going for when chem factories start to appear
resources for an A are only like 16-32 credits since you can use almost anything. Unless they are highly experimented, I couldn't see charging much for them.
I've had no need to make excess to sell on the bazaar, especially not now that we're gated as far as getting into Doctor goes (apparently, anyway; people keep posting that you need 15,000 Med Crafting exp to get the first Doctor crafting skill, but we're capped at 12,000 at Novice Doctor).
