Thread: Greetings and hello again
Hello there everyone, finally got the chance to post on the boards and good to see a few familiar names here already.
Well, as promised, I'll never leave the medics forums even though my char will not be medic related. The good old days will be remembered, the cramming of my clinic, the Endor picnic, the Yavin4 camping trip, and the neverending fight for balance on the forums.
Here's some helpful hits for many to-be-medics:
start off as artisan, resources will be rare especially early in the game as all artisans need them to advance.
before picking your starting city, migrate your stats! whatever species you wish to play, I recommend maximizing willpower.
do not sit in the hospital and wait for patients when you can make wound packs, damage-healing is a much better way to get experience
many players are not familiar with the medic classes, and will be expecting free heals. If you wish to charge, or exchange resources for wound healing, remember to mention it prior to healing
learn how to write macros, they're helpful.
check the options, and turn off the crafting confirmations: they're mere annoyance
read the Holocron (ctrl-h in game) it has some helpful tips
last but not least, check out Tale's newbie medic guide, I do not have a link yet, but it's worth the effort to search for it

Looks like I missed the Yavin IV trip. Ah well. Still looking into getting a webpage somewhere for IGHA. I already talked to two designers. Any ideas for the webpage?
There will be a private forum for IGHA members, a section on guides, a medical journal type section concerning In-Game stories. Also, there will be an event and member section divided by server names.
If you can think of anything else, let me know.
Oh, and I'm glad we're still all together Irregardless of profession.
