Hello all,

Just a quick question. I have a medic, but have not yet been able to aquire any exp points for him. I use /tenddamage constantly; I use it in groups, I go to the medical center and use /tend wounds. But, I have not yet gotten one exp point for it. I started as a scout, and then came over the medical field so I have not yet had a stim pack to use. Can I only aquire EXP when I use stim packs? I thought I could get EXP using /tend damage when grouped or /tend wound while in medical (of course I mean when I use it on others, I know I get nothing when I use it on myself)

Any advise would be helpful.

/tenddamage does not grant medical XP, it's intended for emergencies only and it was easily exploitable when it granted XP. /tendwound should be granting medical XP, if it isn't you should probably report that with /bug. Using stimpacks and medpacks will get you alot more XP and won't cause the mind wounds that the /tend commands do. Try buying resources off the bazaar or training in the Artisan profession to gather resources.

How would you make a medpack, I have the crafting tool, but not sure where to find the designs. Do you need to be a certain level to make them?

You have to have Org Chemistry I to craft a med pack and you find the schematic in your datapad (ctrl+d).

Low level packs like stim A and stat wound med A can be made with a general tool. But u need a food/chem tool to make higher level ones. You also need a food/chem tool to do experimentation...
