Thread: I am a novice medic, what branch's should I fill first in medic tree ?

I have master the TKA prof and I am also a novice medic... Can anyone give me advice as to what branch's of the medic tree i should fill first...ie: should it be 4000, 0400, 0040 or 0004 or is there no advantage to filling up one branch before another and so just carry on mastering each box as and when i have enough xp for them ? Any advice would be welcome.......thx ppl

If you want to pve or use big stims quickly then go 0040 so you increase your med use


If there's no big hurry and you're only using stim B's then I'd go either 4000 or 0400, I doubt if you'll notice much difference between a bigger heal and a quicker heal. Get 2000for firstaid, but that's just me.


Bio enhanced clothes will speed the grind up as well

It depends, where do you want to end up and why? I wouldn't bother with the crafting tree unless you're aiming for Master Medic, in which case I'd do it first as long as you can stand to. The important elements are, as noted, 2xxx (first aid - bleeds) and xx3x or xx4x (Stim-C and Stim-D). A TKA would have a hard time hunting NS, which is the classic use for first aid, though ... but that still makes for stronger heals.

I think organic chemistry, so you can sell stims on the bazaar for money, and the more powerful stims help you pick up more healingxp quicker

More powerful stims are useless without the pharmacology line.

I decided i'd go like this when i did medic...
0/2/1/2 and then from there go for 0/2/4/2 that way you get speed more powerful heals
and the ability to make them instead of buying them.

I wouldn't try to craft stims unless you master medic at least, with low experimentation you wont make anything that'll heal your whole HAM bar.
