The /healwound skill looks like it's given at novice doctor. Which makes me wonder why Diagnose is given at medic --2-.

Yup that's true, but at the mo it's bugged, so you can use it at novice medic.

Could that not cause alot of difficulty if they ever introduce a new server?

Having to wait until somebody gets novice doctor before any wounds can be healed could be a bit of a problem couldn't it?

Well I think they are hoping it'll get doctors back into hospitals healing people, whether that does actually work or not reamins to be seen. People will likely have to pay for healing to ensure a good population of "healing docs" at a hospital I think, it'll be a fair culture shock.

The old "go sit in the med center forever when you would rather be out playing" still works. I tested that out last night.

That's one of the reasons wound healing was in novice medic to begin with. No idea why it got changed...

I have to admit it's an little odd, but then, I don't think any of the Live servers are lacking in available Doctors to provide wound healing.. funny, before we were talking about Medics charging people for Wound healing.. seems we been cornered on that one, hands up those that can see Doc's offering wound healing for 10K?

I already charge 10K for wound healing. With the CU it's going to be ALOT more. Doctors are going to be rare as they will have to buy their meds, and healing wounds being their only source of income. If I have to buy my own meds, then I'm going to charge quite a bit more than 10K for healing wounds.

Given that wound healing would be an innate ablity, there should be no cost to the doctor to heal people, the doctor could if they desire, purchase 'enhancers' which would allow them to heal more wounds in a turn, but this would be purely at their discression and the flow of the ingame economics.. which we all know, follows no rules or common sense.
