Just trying to figure out how I can be an effective healer but also whoop (***)! Last I heard people complaining about diagnostics...is it still broken? OC is all about making the medicines, but say i just wanted to be able to use the best meds in the Medic tree...would I only need First Aid 4 ? And I have no idea what Phamacology does. Any insight would be helpful.

First aid gives you a heal bonus per stimpac hit. So you heal a little more with each use.

Diagnostics speeds up your recovery time between shots so you can use em faster.

Pharmacology lets you use higher level medicines like stim c's.

I sell a lot of Stim B's on the bazaar and will prolly go into production of them as soon as i get my factory.. Since you can use stim b's at novice medic.. people like em.

But are you experiencing Diagnostics not working?

So far the info I havereccommends FA III and Pharm III, then I could use C's if they were experimented down?

What level allows you to use B's or C's during combat? Whatever that is I think thats what I need.

You should be able to use a C that has been experimented on in ease of use with pharm3, asyoud only have to get it from 34 to 30. However, in all my attempts to craft an "easy c," the lowest ive ever gotten it was 32 (granted, i was only at ochem4 at the time...i may be able to do it with the extra exp pts i get from doctor). Also, i was using an intert petrochem in the final combine, which does not have many of the stats needed for an easier to use stimpack. Someone using a high quality metal instead might have much better luck.
