Any idea on what is causing this? Is it me? Never seen this message before until last night - happened 4-5 times and itcaused some corpse retrievals.

That's what the pharmacology skill is there for. The higher the pharmacology, the better meds you can use. My suggestion is ignore first aid and diagnostics and put all of your med pts into phamacology and keep working up organic chem as you get higher. You won't run into this problem anymore.

It happened to me too when I made stim Cs but only had pharmacology 2. When I got pharmacology 4 I could use them without that same thing coming up.

Also, with high pharmacology and being able to make and use better meds, the other 2 branches will fill up 2x-5x faster.

I gather you didn't see my experience bars when you looked at the screenshot I posted. I am currently a Novice Combat Medic so it would have nothing to do with my org chem or pharmacology.

Any other ideas?

You need 25 skill, but you only have 20. However, combat_healing_ability doesn't ring a bell with me (although I had master combat medic support in beta, so I might just never have run into it). I assume it's combat medicine use, you have intermediate support so you'd only have 20 skill, which fits with the screenshot you posted.
