Thread: Berry bonus for crafting meds?
I heard from a player that fruits and berries hada bonus for making medicine.
This seemed weird, to me, as I thought it was only the big three stats that mattered between foods (quality, energy, and flava).
Anyone know the real scoop?
For instance, if you have some wheat, and some berries, and both have 700 in all stats, will the be equally good at making medpacks?
i dont think there is a bonus...its just that berrys have stats in all the important catagories that other organics may not...
i do know berrys are needed for wound packs Cs tho...
hi all,
I heard online that berries and fruits gave a bonus for crafting medpacks.
is that true, or is the only important thing just the listed stats of the item?
For instance, if you has some fruit, and a some corn, and both had all identical stats, would they produce the same quality medpack?
Some people (especially beta testers)have been selectively mining resources for advanced materials since te game went live.
The only water they use (for example is Talus water).. which is needed for adv. components.
Dantooine berries are the only berries that are special, and only to make 1 advanced componet.
However Woundpack C's require "seeds" which contains fruit and berries, rather than just general organics. This may also be a place where this confusion stemms from.
Like anything else in crafting though. If your specific material is of low quality, it may be better to make lower letter packs with very high quality generic organics etc.
In your example, yes if both have identical stats they would produce the same quality pack (on average).
