Hi i'm new to the game i started back in december. When i started, i started as a marksman but i happen to come intoposession ofa jedi holocron that told me to master the medic profession. I went and got trained as novice medic. My question is, am I supposed to get xp from healing other characters damage. I get xp for healing wounds. But when i heal someones damage it will say that i healed so much damage and that is it i get no xp. If someone could clarify this for me i would be grateful. Im wondering if it has something to do having a different starting profession?

You'll get no XP for pets' damage, or for healing your own damage.
If you healed another character's damage, you should get medical XP. Sounds like a possible bug, but not one that I've heard of before.
You do get XP for healing wounds (with wound packs), even on pets. Use /diagnose to find what wounds your patients have. You can even heal wounds without med packs, and get XP, but will cause some damage to your own mind-focus-willpower...

Your going to need a Generic crafting tool to craft your Stim A's and Action and Wound A's. Then stim B's you need a Food and Chemical Crafting tool, and alot, if not most, of the higher end stuff requires you to beat a crafting station with your Food and Chemical crafting tool.
You can buy these tools on the bazaar for cheap. If not, just yell out asking somebody to make you one and you should get a response.

Also, you cansee damaged healed but not get xp from applying stimpaks to full healed (healthly) player. Can you detail exactly what actions you are performing?
