I was wondeing if someone could help a working novice mediac out and list their best recipes for making stim b's and action/health/staminia ect. wound packs. My meds seem to have a very low heal power. Thanks for any help.

Devs clearly do not play their creations and are utter clueless as to the results of their nerfs. They seem to be in love with their ideas and ignore the results.

Use the best OQ stuff you can find, check the schematic for what secondary stat you should be looking for (ie Potential Energy or Unit Toughness). Make sure you experiment on everything

Hate to tell you this but there is no best recipe for making meds cause OC and PEchange and are different for each item and server. In order to make good meds you have to look at the resources used. OC (overall quality) counts for 66% of the effectivness and PE (potential energy) counts for 33%. A simple math calculation I found on the boards is:

OC * 2 + PE * 1

Using this formula 3000 is the highest possable med rating. Use it to determine the overall effectiveness of your meds. On another note some resources don't have PE such as bones so try to stay away from those kind of resources unless your grinding for exp. To further increase the power of your meds you could make adv components which will greatly increase your healing ability. An adv component made with poor materials is still better than a basic component made with amazing materials. Also experiment on every component and on the final product to get the best results unless again, your grinding for exp.

the best way to come up with a good recipe is to figure out exactly what kiknd of a resource a particular animal drops. Find an animal that has a really good OQ hide oe whatever and then that's your recipe.

"all out of organics time to kill snakes" something like thst

Also you should know that the quality of resources harvested from animals do shift as well. What might have OQ of 975 one day might have OQ 600 the next.

So if I understand this correctly...I have 2 look for recipes products that have OQ 66% and a PE of 33%? So the OQ must be about 660 and the PE 330 more or less will make the meds fragile?

no

you want OQ and PE as high as possible

the 33% and 66% indicate how important those stats are in making the item.

Crystal Clear....no math, just as high as possible.

Just so you know, as mentioned above some resources you can use don't have factors such a PE and some components require other factors such as flavor, conductivity, unit toughness, mallability, and such. Listed on the schematic will tell you how much the overall product will be effected by these.
