Thread: Medics get our of the med center and go hunt in grps. Great med xp

After hitting master medic last night, I went out in my first serious hunting grp. The med xp is incredible. I was using stim As mostly and Bs when some1 got really hurt. Cs for when people got incapacitated. The med xp was way better than in the med center healing wounds. I was getting about 80-100 xp per stim A and 100-200 per stim B and 150-300 per stim C and i didnt have to wait 24 secs for my next heal. Just was using stims left and right...I made 1/2 the xp to novice doctor in about an hr. and I got ranged support 2. Not to mention raised my pistol skill quite a bit.


I highly recommend u going out into the field and use stims to heal...no 24 sec delay and the xp is great....


I think im gonna be mostly out of the med center until I hit combat medic and pistol 4.

Was it difficult staying up on your resources to keep making stims? How did you handle that part of it?

I afk surveyed so i have a ton of resources. Once you get havesters up and going which im in the process of doing. Resources will be less of a problem.


I usually make a big batch of stims B and Cs before i go hunt...sometimes if i have more time ill make a big batch of experimented As too..But i find experimenting on As usefull but not critical. B and Cs i like to make in advance to experiment on them.


I dont really rip through B and C very quickly as i use mostly As.


As are cheap fast and easy to make in the field. At master medic, supposedly my stim pack delay is shorter due to the diagonstics, but i havent really noticed a speed change. Just take extra resources with you to make stims As. Mostly inorganics and you can ask the grp to give you organics from the mobs you kill. Also you can make stims as you auto follow some1. So while moving camps make stims. Its a bit hard to do a ton of things at once but you get used to it...


Also run multiple tools kits in the field to really keep up with stim use. Honestly, I find that I still use stim As the most. Bs i use in a tight situation and rarely do i use Cs. Ill probably stop making Bs soon since it about the same resources to make a C pak. I jst have a ton of Bs left over.



P.S. also dont over load you combat queue with special moves as you cant heal then. I usually fill it with 1 or 2 moves only. Also learn how to use the /peace to clear combat and heal in a pinch. It will shave valuable secs off healing time.

My understanding was that once you acquire organic chem II, you could no longer make stim pak As any longer only stim pak Bs? is this true? I have been putting off skilling up to Organic Chem II for this very reason. It sounds like from your post, that you can still make stim pak As even at Organic Chem IV tho. Please help me out thanks.

In beta, you would lose our old schematics and not be able to make lower packs, but that has been removed and you can make any pack that you were previously able to make.


I read on a thread the reason that you would lose lower level schematics was to make higher meds have to rely on lower meds for certain components to packs. This was to create a master/apprentice relationship between higher levels and lower level. But this idea was scrapped...

I just got a headache even hearing the word 'revocation' - I think *I* need a medic.

Thank god they scrapped that one.
