Thread: Faster med xp in hunting grps then med center
I've noticed that I make much faster xp going hunting with grps and using stims over using wound packs in the med center. Not only does hunting in a grp mean that people will need to be healed, the shorter delay means more xp.
There have been times when I have sat in a med center for hours without having people needing heals...
Hmmm...I'm thinkin I'm gonna be out of the med center more...
My only concern with this is that when people figure this out...there are gonna be no more medics in the med centers and people wont be able to get healed...
Of course becoming a doctor and shortening your wound healing delay may fix this problem since doctors will be able to heal much faster.
Ne 1 in beta with master doctor know what the delay on wound heals shortens to as you advance?
im just worried that med center will empty out and people wont have healers...
even as a doctor, stimpacking will give better xp since stim delay is way less than wound heal delay....
unless the skill tree significantly lowers the delay of wound heals for doctors...
you could get 4-5 stims off in the time u get 1 wound heal off....
either wound heal xp will have to be increased or doctor wound delay majorly shortened
I think there will be some people who still man the med centers. I can't guarantee it, of course.
On the other hand, if people can't get healed in med centers, what will they do? If they're smart, they'll join groups that have medics and get healed by those medics out in the field in scout camps. I can't see that as a bad thing. Most of all, it will encourage groups to bring medics with them both to handle wounds, and to try to prevent the massive wounding in the first place.
can imagine why ne group wouldnt want a medic in it? every grp i have been in loves me..
they are like im never hunting without a medic again...
Hi,
I found the same thing. I wander to the outskirts of town a lot. People seem to really appreciate having the medic in the area to heal them when they need it.
