Hi,

Speaking on behalf of myself, I haven't charged anything so far, and don't plan to. I genenerally heal the patient to 100%, unless I run out of supplies, then I tell them I ran out, and they either wait while I craft more, or they can leave. As far as time, it takes a couple minutes. When you heal someone, you have to wait 5-10 seconds to heal them more.

You can use stimpacks and woundpacks on yourself (and others), if you purchase the Novice Medic profession. Stimpacks heal damage, and can be used anywhere. Woundpacks are (duh) for wounds, and can only be used in camp, in a medical center, or in the presence of a medical droid.

It does take a long time to heal wounds unfortunately. Once people start making it to Doctor, the process should speed up dramatically. As far as tipping goes, there is no established custom. Search the forums for "tip" or "tipping" and you should get an idea of just how controversial a subject it is.

I can tell you what I like best though.../tell me with an offer upfront. Depending on your wounds, anywhere from 200 on up is great. By getting that out of the way upfront, you'll ensure that I sit there till you're all healed.

I just started and my character (Scout/Brawler) has a lot a wounds to various attributes, so I have a couple of questions. First, is there anything I can buy to heal the wounds myself. Sometimes I'm in the field and don't like to come back to the hospital. Second, I only went to visit a Medic once so far, but when I went it took a long time to heal. The medic didn't even heal everything, they just took off. Ususally, do you guys heal 100% of the wounds, or just some of them. Should I tell them I have a lot of wounds. Also, what is a customary tip. I heard 5c per wound point, but that seemed pretty high. Any input would be appreciated.
