I am out with two buds at the moment and we are doing imperial faction missions. However, when I try

to heal them right now I get the it would be unwise to heal this patient comment and cannot heal them. I do not know how to get around this. Any suggestions? Is this a bug?

i believe if you become covert though it will let you, not totally positive on this issue though.

I have a quick question along these lines. I was healing somebody who then stood up and accepted a duel with another player. The patient had no FP of any kind, but after the duel it never let me heal him again, I kept getting the "it would be unwise..." error. Is this a bug or is that the way it is supposed to be?

If you are neutral you cannot heal overts or coverts with temporary overt flags.

If you are covert and you heal a overt, you will get a temporary overt flag.

If you are neutral you can heal coverts that do not have temp overt flags.

So if you are a neutral and running a imp mission with a grp you will not be ableto heal the people in that grp unless you are of the same faction

I think there is a bug with dueling. I too have run into the problem that I can't heal other people who are also neutral, because at some point in their game session they dueled(I think that is what triggers it). When I asked them about their faction scores, they said they had 0 faction for both imp and rebel.

Also, have any of you run into a bug where, even though you have medicine in your inventory, when you go to heal someone you get the message "No Valid Medicine Found"? I know sometimes it can happen as a result of the target being too far away, but the other day I tried to use a stim on someone who was incapped, and sitting at my feet. And it kept telling me no medicine found (and YES, I had their body targetted). Was VERY aggravating. I seem to get this quite a bit. Anyone else?

Nutrals can heal coverts (without TEFs) and neutrals

Coverts can heal everyone except opposite Overt (But healing a Covert with a TEF or an Overt will create a TEF).

Overts can heal anyone except opposite Overt (or can they heal them too? never tried it... they were always shooting at me).

If people duel, they get a TEF against that other person only.

If you have to heal a dueler make sure:

1.) someone gives the other one a deathblow... If not, they are still dueling and under the TEF.

2.) If they are not DBing, then they have to cancel the duel to end it. (There are people walking around in a duel with their friend for like 5 hours and not knowing it.)

If tey do one of these 2 things usualyl the TEF goes away instantly (unlike PVP TEFS which last 5 mins IIRC.
