Thread: Questions for medics out there..

I relized im going to have around 46 points left and since my current professions are rather high.
It's taking while to progess in them. So I was thinking of using those 46 points into the Medic tree. I did the math and I will be able to do Novice Medic and fill up two trees. What two would be the best for fighter. To perhaps will in camp and such, and doesnt have a prob. with credits so can buy own stim packs etc.

If you just want it for a side line, I recommend you run up the diag and first aid trees. This will let you stop bleeding, heal for good amounts, low delay between heals. You can use any B wound or stim.


You will only be able to craft A stims for yourself though. With factories getting more common it shouldn't be a problem to find someone willing to sell you stim Bs at 250 or so a 20 charge unit.


If you want to make your own Bs you are going to need to buy water, chemical, some inorganic which can be water or chemical if you want and organics. You make 3 components and combine them into a final product. You will need organic chem III if you want to make Cs and pharm III if you want to use them (assuming you bring the ease of use down during manufacture)


I recommend buying them. It will save you a lot of trouble.

I disagree. I suggest going for Organic Chem uptil level 3 of it and then pharmacology 3. Then spend some in First Aid (try to get to FA2) and then if there is any left, goto Diagnostics. With Pharm you can use higher level meds. OC3 will let you craft stat woundpacks (I think) so this is a plus. First Aid 2 stops bleeding and diagnostics gives a smaller interval between each heal.
