Thread: How do u heal when they are running in circles
Hi, whats the command or how do you heal people when your not in medcenters or camps or have a droid while your out in agroup and have the person selected and they are running around fighting something and cant stop for very long and you cant click on the person because they are moving around too much etc...
And what level medic do you have to be? or docter or combat medic?
It is best tobe grouped with players you are healing. When grouped you see all their HAM bars, keep them open, and switch to the Arrow Cursor mode and just select the HAM bar of the player that needs healing. You must still be within the proper range to heal them, but you don't have to chase them around trying to click on them to select them. Playing in Cursor mode takes a little practice if you have not done it but as a healer there is no better way to keep a group alive.
Having the HAM bars open also lets you see who is bleeding, poisoned or just under attack and needs help as you will see the same symbols next to the bars as you do on you personal one.
Master Combat Medic
Doctor 0,4,3,0
Pistoleer 0,4,4,0
Is there a target command? For example, in EQ, if I wanted to target someone, I could type or make a hot key, /Tar Kirkrok
And each time I hit this, I would auto target Kirkrok. This would make healing alot easier if you find you are grouping or healing the same person over and over, and even better if not grouped wiht you.

If you go out with people on a mission or something, be sure to group with them - it's really the only way to heal in the heat of battle. I'm not a big fan or "Arrow Cursor" mode and only use it when I need to. Instead, I use ctrl+2 thru ctrl+9 (depending on how many people you have in the group).
Say you have 2 people in a group and your friend needs help. Press ctrl+2 and he will be selected. Ctrl+1 selects yourself. If you want to automatically try to get close to him, you need to /follow him. I personally have /healdamage,/follow, /healdamage self, and /stopfollow (or whatever the command is) in my toolbar. I went a long time without doing this, because I'm stubborn, and believe me -- it's worth it.
I'd Sudgest simply throwing some stims in the toolber and when your selected on a target, push that corresponding f(x) key and it does it pretty well. Another tip, make a healself macro so when your in danger, tip that f(x) command key and you'll be good to go, of course it takes stims too so watch that.

Thanks! I have tried those /heal commands but none worked. I guess its /healdamage then. Thanks for the /follow /healdamage /stopfollow tip. That looks very veryusefull! And I will try putting stims in the toolbar. I forgot about that.
I am allways grouped when healing and I know about clicking their names on the group list. I just forgot which command it was to heal out of the camp/medcenter cause the ones I was usesing wernt working and Im just starting to be a medic in groups instead of in town. now that I know the proper command, I wont have to click the person to heal them.
Thanks again.
