Is it bugged? Everytime I try to use it it just tells me I don't have enough mind points, and im fully healed and have about 800+ mind....This is rediculous...

Nope, not bugged, just rediculous. Not sure how much mind it takes... but its a lot. Maybe Ill try one tonight, I think im at 1000, so if I cant do it, no one can.

I've never tried it, but I was under the impression that anyone can do it. It wasn't supposed to be a fixed amount of mind that it needed. It was more supposed to be like it requires 100% of your mind pool to cast or something. That's what its description led me to believe anyhow. I'll have to play with it a bit. I have 1150 mind.

Yeah, ive never used it, simply because:

1) It uses 1000 mind points to do

2) It gives NO xp

3) Does the same as a Stim D shot.

I think its supposed to be a last ditch effort to save someone without using a stim, but the fact that you need 1000 mind points to do it (which you would rarely have in battle!) it falls under the 'useless Skills' pile along with Medical Forage.

Thanks, I was wondering how many mind points this took. So if it cost 1000, how many do you actually have to have to use it. When tending wounds(Never done anymore) I had to have a minimum of 500 points in my mind pool even though the cost for the skill was only around 350.

"what the hell does quickheal do?"

It sits in your skill tree and looks impressive. Kind of like those certificates people frame and put in they're office so visitors can have something tolook atwhen they're bored.

OK, well I tested it...

It cost me around 450 mind points, and it healed about the same, unfortunately I was healing an entertainer, so I only healed the action bar, so it wasnt a perfect test. My guess is that your secondary stats in mind are very low, thus increasing the requirement for doing anything related to mind.

It could be a useful skill if your in a cantina and just focused on healing entertainers, but other then that, I dont see any real use, other then if your out of stims and you need to give that last good heal (happened to me once).
