Hi, I'm a new medic, and looking for answers.

One of the first things I knew I would have to be doing is crafting, with good materials and such. (All I needed for my smuggler was copper, no thought involved). Now I'm wondering, what should I mine, and what should I buy? (I'm talking about high quality stuff)

Thanks in advance.

well, you can buy just about anything you can mine, and the reverse, so what you buy and what you mine is up to you, but if you're looking for a list of what you'll need to get in the end, for general components its just metal, chem, organic, sometimes water.

when you get to the advanced components they have to be made using planet specific ingredients. the advanced bio effect controller takes lokian wild wheat and tatooinian fiberplast. the advanced liquid suspension requires dantooine berry fruit and talusian water. the final advanced component, the advanced chemical release duration mechanism requires herbivore meat and class 4 liquid petrochemical. in my experience if you hunt around and ask around you can stock up on the petrochem while its around, and you can buy in the herbivore meat if you're not the hunting type, but most of the others arent hard to find.

the advanced components might seem like a lot of work but they really do make a world of difference. for stats and other information i'd suggest checking out swgmedic.com or swgcraft.com if you just need schematic requirements.
