Today, there was an overt imperial and an overt rebel fighting, and i'm a covert rebel, soI went to lend a hand, I knew I was going to get a TEF, but how I got it was interesting.

I clicked heal damage on the rebel fighting, but by the time I hit heal damage, he was dead and deathblowed. HOWEVER, when I used heal damage on his CORPSE, I received a TEF. Is this a bug or intended ?

Intended. Because Res is a healing action and if you had Ressucitated him he would have been right back into the fight (kinda.) So it;'s definitely intended that you shoudl get a TEF. You just ended up with bad timing by only getting in a stim. (I hate when that happens.)

Correct me if I'm wrong but healing a corpse doesn't do anything does it? At any rate after rezzing the victim his ham bars would still be reset, I think.

So it seems to me that healing a corpse shouldn't be allowed.

Which makes sense regardless- you rez the dead, you don't heal them.

Sounds like a weird lag case to me.

I haven't tried to stim a body for a long time now...

Yeah, I agree. It sounded like your clicked on the stim before the target dies, so your client said it was good to go on the stim, but by the time it went off it was too late. So the stim went off anyways but it did nothing, other than to give you a TEF.

Not sure if you all noticed it but ressing gives a 60 second timer that causes me, the resseee, not to be able to do ANYTHING, except get killed again.

What is the point of getting ressed anymore?

Res has ALWAYS had that 60 second timer. You just got off the crash cart, after all.

In the best case scenario... your doctor/medic would have dragged your corpse to "safety" before rez'ing you. not rez'ed you in the middle of 8 opposing faction members
