can't seem to makem w/ my generic crafting tool

Get a food/chem tool, and you should be set.You should even be able to make one yourself with thatgeneric of yours. (Of course, if you want to experiment on it, you need to be around a food/chemcrafting station or a droid with a food/chem crafting chip.)
