Well I have 2 Medics both are on Naritus server and I have noticed that focusing on just my medic skills have left me behind in other areas, and a big one is Faction Points,I have alot of trouble obtaining these, although It could be done in a group it is very annoying because sometimes I am usually deemed useless untill after the battle whenever someone needs healing. So I was thinking how about when you heal a fellow Faction member you get a slight amount of Faction Points,or something close to it.This could help people who would like to focus on the Medic Professions a bit more because you no longer have to worry about being slain because when you get the faction points you are able to purchase a bodyguard with them.If this sounds unreasonable then how about some sort of way to make it so Combat Medics get FP for healing comrades on the battlefield.Remembe this is only an idea so your criticism can only help.

I think it would be too easily exploitable if you got faction points whenever you healed someone in your faction, you could just have a buddy tumble over and over while you healed them. The update notes for the next patch say this:
Added healing kill credit for medics that perform healing on same group combatants

This may mean that when you heal someone who kills someone from the opposite faction, you get some faction points.

well to make it a bit harder, how about setup a seperate xp system,Called Faction Healing, and whenever u heal a same Faction Memner u get xp a small amount of xp say 10 xp.Then what you do is you go to an Imperial or Rebel Recruiter and convert the xp into faction points just the opposite of the training conversion. And maybe say for about 10k xp u would get like 20 faction points.

Sounds to me like it wold be good. The Faction XP would only show up in teh same way that Combat XP is showing up on test. Sombody starts combat with somebody else. You heal tht first person and get a small sahre of Combat XP AND Faction XP for that person's fight with their current target while you were healing them. Not so easily exploitable.

if the game is already keeping track of who doing what damage and how much damage u are healing and accounts for that...using that number i see no reason why the game couldnt calculate ur share of Fp...

lord knows how they gonna work this one

My suspicion is this is how it already works in the new patch: if you heal someone in your group you get a percentage of faction points that they earn. Unfortunately I won't be able to test this on TestCenter, I'd have to spend a bunch of time becoming a Rebel and then find another Rebel to test it with.
