Hi,

I would like to know the difference between "Heal Damage", and "Tend Damage". I have noticed xp gain through use of heal damage, but not with tend damage. Any explanation would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Heal give XP, tend Doesn't

Heal needs you to have a Stim kit in your inventory to fucntion, tend doesn't

Heal takes a bit from your mind bar when used, Tend gives you wind wounds when used

Heal does Sitm pack level of healing, tend does worse than the worst stim worth of healing

Basically, tend is for people who don't have stim packs and need to heal someone NOW

I think it's time to bump my medic guide ... look for "Tale's Medic Guide" in this forum or go to this URL: http://www.swgalaxies.net/articles/article.php3?article_id=17

P.S. Correction to fashtas post (he's mostly right) ... /tenddamage gives no xp, but /tendwound does give XP.

That means /tendwound is the only means for a medic without any medicine to gain XP ... In beta the XP from /tenddamage was removed because it was possible to exploit powerlevelling a medic and entertainer using a macro and /tenddamage.

Didn't know that. I don't think I've ever actually healed a wound with /tendWounds

Nice medic help document BTW. You should stick that in your signature. It answers a lots of questions like this one nicely
