Thread: Need to know the fastest way to get medical crafting exp for chemistry.
Yeh, Im finding the chemistry part of the medic skill tree very tedious and boring and slow on my way to getting bio engineer, anyone have any tips on how to make it go faster or easier for me? So fair im trying to get chemistry 4 but need about 15000 exp more for bio engineer, ive basicly just been using practice on crafting stim packs, im hoping there can be a better way to do it.. cause this one sure sucks. Thanks in advance.
Novice Doctor speaking here. I can't tell you, because Organic Chemistry was the first branch I filled in completely. This is primarily because I own my own crafting station, made a lot of stimpacks, and used them myself to heal people in combat (or heal wounds at the hospital). I didn't consider it a grind. In fact, I qualified for Intermediate Medicine Crafting I before I qualified for Novice Doctor!
In general, though, I made a lot of my stimpacks as Bs, Cs, and statwound packs, because they use a lot of components. Even when I didn't use them myself there was usually someone in the hospital who ran low. You might try to sell one or two.
FISH
ouch grinding for chem....i never had crafting grind problems because i was in the field al lthe time ripping through packs...but
hmmm had these been a week or two ago i would say grind Bs then Cs...
but now since u dont get UXP for your own components id almost say get a ton of low quality org and inorgs...sit down get 4 tool and grind out practice BECs...
they give u the best xp per resource and they dont take much time at all to make so there is no wait for the tool time...if all u want to do is grind it...this would probably work now...
Speaking as a Novice Doctor, I don't get why the fourth tier chemistry skill is so difficult for you to get.
Grouping and fighting in the field, I used to spend about two hours a day crafting (sounds tedious, but I thought it was ok. For the benefits anyway. I got Master medic in two days, meaning in two days I had all of my organic chemistry done, and when I got novice octor I already qualified for the fifth tier medical crafting skill.
All I can say is craft craft, and to get back to the original question, No. The only way to raise that Organic Chemistry is to craft, craft, craft. I would recommend making fully experimented B or C packs. Experimenting gives you more XP. More time consuming though....
Also, I got 4 crafting kits, and a crafting terminal for my house. Being able to run 4 crafting kits at the same time saves me about 3 minutes per stimpack that I make. Every minute helps.
