Hello, can anyone help me by answer few quesions about Meds Components.

Fisrt What's the advantage of using Advanced Components when crafting Meds as a Medic?

Where and how do I find the following Advanced Components? And How do I harvest them once I found them?

Dolovite Irons
Talusian Water Vapor
Lokian Wild Wheat
Domestic Oats
Dantooine Berry Juice
Class 4 liquid Petro fuel

Is Medic the only profession able to find and harvest those Compnents?

Using advanced components in ur packs will basically increase the charges and effectiveness of your packs.

In order to find them you just have to travel around to find them...

You can harvest these if you 1) sample by hand assuming you have artisan. 2)place harvesters in order to collect these resources...

These resources are collectable by anyone with a harvester or survey skills.

i just started using these components and i wont go back to the basic ones

some people might say this is a waste of time but i think it is kinda fun

like a scavenger hunt

i am about half way towards having all the resources needed to bake all of the advanced components and i cant wait till i can make em all

Some of the adv components, like Lokean wild wheat and Dattooine berry fruit, is planet specific. You have to go to those planets to get them. And setting up harvesters on an advanced planet can be very annoying. Checking them can be worse.

Once I build up enough capitol and storage of high OQ normal resources I will start working on moving to advanced components for my personal use and use the normal stuff for bazaar sales.

I've been travelling, trying to collect the resources required, and here is what I can tell you based on my experience so far (playing the Kettemor server):

• There is Doloviteon Datooine


• You have to go to Talus for Talusian Water Vapor


• Lok is the only place to get Lokian Wheat


• I haven't really searched for Domestic Oatsbut they should be pretty easy to find


• You've got to go to Dantooine for Datooine Berry Fruit


• I haven't found a source of Petro 4 yet

If you choose to put in the time to collect the material and use theadvanced sub-components,the payoff is about 100 extra points of capability (at least that was my experiencecrafting a Stimp C usingAdvanced Liquid Suspensions).

I look at it the same way...it is a scavenger hunt for the resources and forces me to travel to planets I may not have. Of course its expensive but worth the effortI think.

im not sure why nobody can find class 4 petro fuel I have asked many people where it might be and i have traveled to alot of planets but i cannot find any. it is too bad too because it is the last component that i need to make stim D's. thats another thing for some reason the D's dont show up as makable items when im near a food and chem station or otherwise but they do show up as a scematic in ctrl+d.

uh u dont need class 4 petro for stim Ds...infact u need no advanced components for D

In fact Ds require 2 identical BECs which is bugged to ignore advanced component stats...

D requires a PRIVATE not PUBLIC crafting terminal...they also require factoyr made BECs...

right no stimpacs require advanced components... but you can choose to use them instead of regular components for increased charges and effectiveness...

The berry hunt continues... all my friends laugh at me that im out looking for things like Wheat and Berries and Fungus... lol...

I dont know how hard it is to get.. but I have the class 4 petro fuel thing.. a friend easily found a lot on Rori.

Domestic oats are easy to get. However the overall quality and potential energy of them is very poor, at least with the onesI have seen. I have not tried with making advanced components so not sure if that cancels out the lower stats on them.

Most of the time you can find theses on the bazaar and for cheapbecause people will find them on when surveying and just consider them normal organic materials.

with just one advanced component the advanced solid shell my wound B is increased from 45 to 112.. and that's with crappy resources so go figure heh
