Thread: A few questions for medics
Hello I'm a player aspiring to be an advanced combat class. I wish to have some basic medical skills though so I can heal myself in an emergency situation. I have a few questions concerning the medic class.
1. I've been playing this game for nearly a month and I still have no idea what a Bio Effect Controlleris and what a Liquid Suspension is and what they are used for.
2. Soon I will have the ability to craft StimPack B's. I was wondering at what point do you get expirementation pts. to help customize your weapons (oops meant stims. . .see I'm a marksman)
3. My crafting ability is limited (remember I spend my time blasting things) what do the OQ and PE mean in terms to item qualities (such as decay, etc).
Thank you very much.
you'll use the liquid and the chemical thing to make stim pack B's.

1. BECs and Suspensions are components of Stims/Meds higher than A, as are Chemical Delivery Somethings and Solid Shells.
2. Orgo gives you experimentation points. Click through the skill tree to see how much at a given level.
3. OQ and PE affect the quality of your Stims/Meds as outlined in the schematic. When you're crafting, check the bottom right corner and it tells you the weight of each attribute in determining the quality of what you're crafting (58% OQ, 28% PE, 14% Taste means that you want high OQ most, then high PE if you can get it, and high Taste if you can't improve the others - no other attribute will affect the quality).
Thank you for your responses. . . I wasn't clear in one question though.
While you told me what OQ and PE are used for which is helpful what I was truly wondering though is what do OQ and PE stand for =)
Thanks.
OQ is Overall Quality, and PE is Potential Energy.
Sorry about the mixup. ![]()
If your main concern is just healing yourself in a pinch i recomend organic chem 4 and pharmacology 4 it will give u good results w/your crafting as well as a higher level to use your meds....I'm not sure but you want be able to use higher than a stim pack b but to heal your self while u run for saftey it will do the trick
Dogma /Tarquinas
For just healing myself I would take first aid up to get the one to stop bleeding or higher. First aid increases the amount you heal. Then take phar IV so you can use any of the stim kit Cs.
You don't need the speed increase; however you will now need to purchase stimkit Cs or Bs. You can easily purchases Cs for a 200-300 each and purchasing 10(1 mission) will keep you in stock for a long time. Since they come with over 30 heals and will probably heal you totally in one hit.
If you don't mind using multiple stimkits during a battle don't get phar and stick with stimkit Bs. However they will suck up mind, so you have to be careful with that.
