Thread: Healing with meds in satchels/backpacks?

I haven't seen this issue brought up in the forums yet, but if there is a duplicate post or concern please disregard. One of my gripes is that I like to keep like items in different satchels or backpacks to keep my inventory neat and seperated. It kinda irks me that when I want to heal or craft for that matter, I have to move the items I want to use out of my satchel and into my inventory. It seems to me that it can't be that hard to see the meds or resources to heal/craft. This seems like a huge issue and can't believe no one has complained or tried to have it fixed yet.

I think you can just put a stim b in a satchel and drag it to the hotkeys and it works. I hate that i can't use resources in a satchel to craft.. that is super stupid.

One person had the idea if a droid had a storage module you s hould be able to put batteries in there and it would just use them as it needed them. Awsume idea.

I know you can put stims up on the hot bar, but mine is full all with weapons and crafting tools, it makes it a pain to cycle to another bar all the time. I also can make all the advanced stims and woundpacks that would take up quite a bit of space on the hot bars.

I do like the idea of being able to put batteries in droids, I wish I could store anything in it.

You could set up your number "2" bar for healing perhaps, or better for your Artisan tools

This is what I do for wound healing:

Put all my wound meds in one bag.

Target the player I want to heal. Let's say I'm healing Strength.

Open my med bag.

Double click the strength med. It'll do a strength heal on my target.

I can just click whatever med I like until the guy is all healed up.

This actually works better for me than having to put stuff in the hotbar.
