How do I make 300/30+ charges of stim B? Do I need to be a doctor or Combat medic? Or can I just get org chem 4 and be able to do this?
I know you need to experiment. But does anyone know what factors affects it?
There are 3 factors:
1- The elements you use to make medicines. Use of good quality stuff and advanced components will increase the result dramatically.
2- When experimenting, your skill in experimentation.
3- When experimenting, luck.
Advanced Componets.
Using advanced componets, I get a stim-B that's rated at 288 even without experimenting. With experimenting I can get it to 357, and that's not using the best ingredients.
Being a doctor helps because you get more experimentation points.
Well the power, or the majority of it comes from the Liquid Suspension and the two primary (non component) ingredients. The charges will come from making you Biological Effect Controller heavy on the charges. Go figure... The CRDM is important EXACTLY how it fits I dont know other than it seems to limit intitial quailty and therefore the maximum quality of an item...
For a charge heavy and still high heal/action rated stim:
Advanced BEC : Lokian Wild Wheat , Tatooinin Fiber plast
with the ingredients I have and some luck I get 17 charges and 17 power ( keep in mind the power of the bec also effect the overall heal rating of your stim though not as greatly as the LS )
Liquid Suspension : Dantooine Fruit Berry , Talusian water vapor -
I make them at or about 157 power rating here...

I have some middle of the road Class 4 petroleum and some middle of the road to very bad herbavore meat. I think that herbavore meat on intrepid needs some love btw DEVS.
If you can make CRDM at or above 50 you should be able to make stim B that between 30-35 charges and 330-340 base easily
Im testing this as we speak with 200 OQ herbavore meat and probably around power 38 just to see whats what .... The noncomp organic is pe 965 oq 870 and the Inorganic element is Unit toughness 902 and oq 880 the bec 17 17 ( fairly good ) crdm 37 ( not very good at all ) liquid suspension 157 ( pretty nice from what Ive seen) ......drum roll please...........intitial rating 36 charge 319 heal health heal action req skill use 5 ( experimental charges 24%, Exp effectiveness 25% ) now to experiment ..... ( critical failures seem rampant ) 9 exp shots in effectiveness and one in charges =
37 charge 397 heal heal/action med use 5.

Lumache, your herbivore meat was NOT nerfed. You will find that there are different kinds of herbivore meat on different planets, and their stats change every few weeks just like all resources do. It is not set by the developers, it's random.
