I just poured over all 40 something pages on the Dev tracker. I haven't seen our so called "medic correspondant" once. does he or she even care? why not answer some questions, pal. or even just a little feedback. heck, even telling me to go away would be a pleasant change from the silent treatment. I'm sure you have better things to do. but at least tell us you are listening. What are you doing about the "Solo Medic" issue? Some of us need an option to play at least SOMEWHAT alone. or what about the medic's complete trust in other players for income? If i wanted to run delivery missions all day, i would have made a marksman and run the destroy missions. they make more money. Why did you take away our XP for pet heals? i just want to know WHY you did it. it doesn't really bother me. How is a medic ever supposed to unlock the FSCS? we don't have the combat skills to be able to run to Dathomir, or Dantooine, or wherever you have to go. If Entertainers get their own terminals, why can't medics? let's be fair about it.....

anyway, i'm sure i'll get some kind of response to this. it just won't be from a Dev. It'll be from some other player. thanks anyway.

oh. and please put a medic trainer in Anchorhead. No one will teach me Diagnostics 4. thank you.

oh....one more thing. if you want to unlock my FSCS, please do. I won't mind! lol

that last part was a joke......

I agree with you on the medic terminals man, but there are plenty of other professions out there that aren't getting any more love than medics. Im sure the correspondent is on the case, but the devs haven't really given any more or less attention to our profession than any other.

I think you're confused - Xahn is an SOE Mod, the Medic correspondent is Traigus. his posts are all over this board. Correspondents aren't employees of SOE, they're players who have volunteered to represent a profession.

I think that guy just set the world record for the most misinformation ever in a single post.

* The medic correspondent is a player like you, who volunteered to communicate medic issues to the devs.
* The medic correspondent is Traigus, not Xahn. Traigus is a very good medic correspondent, he is working hard to represent you.
* Xahn is a forum moderator employed by SOE and has nothing to do with medics or correspondents.
* There is no "solo medic issue", you have 250 skill points so you can spend the others on combat abilities and play alone if you want.
* If you are completely reliant on other players for income, you're not trying very hard.
* It's not a class-based game, you can be a marksman AND a medic AND the other four newbie professions if you wish.
* The XP for pet heals was taken away because it was a ridiculous exploit.
* Nobody knows how to unlock a force sensitive slot, because nobody has done it yet, everyone is just guessing.
* There is no difference between a medic unlocking a force sensitive slot and another profession doing so. And maybe you need multiple professions to unlock it, who knows?
* Dathomir and Dantooine don't necessarily have anything to do with unlocking a force-sensitive slot.
* Anchorhead doesn't need a medic trainer, there are plenty on Tatooine and Diag IV isn't exactly hard to find anyway.

not trying very hard?

i want to post this persons name. I only know his Character name. it's Haoodwy.

this person sat in the anchorhead cantina. his HAM bars were completey black. I healed soooo many wounds on this guy. I peeled through almost all my meds. He never even said "Thank You".....

This was on the Wanderhome Server. He just got up and walked away.

after he left, i mentioned something to an Entertainer i know named Dezle. Just because of his inappreciation, she tipped me 2k.

Now, some people are probably going to say "See? you got paid!" but that isn't the point. If it wasn't for some entertainers kindness, i would have blown all those medpacks for nothing. So.....

I'm not sure if i can try any harder. I know i'm writing down the names of all the people who don't tip me for heals. But there's always someone who will heal for free. I like playing a medic. and i don't want to blow any skill points on Combat skills. I have just enough to do the healing professions that i want to do.

If i can't play a Jedi, i would at least like to play a Healing character. I shouldn't be forced to pick up skills that don't coincide with my ideal character.

Is that too much to ask? I'm not sure i can try any harder than that. Maybe you have an Idea? I appreciate the feedback
