Thread: Does + Injury Treatment affect stim useage?

I recently dropped the First Aid line and was wondering what stat, if any dictates the healingpower of my stims (other than crafting)? I alwasy assumed it was medicine use.


So what I'm asking is, if I move back up the First Aid line, would my stims heal for more, coming from the same crate?

The First Aid line boosts your injury treatment skill, which in turn lets you heal more per attempt. So, if you were to pick up First Aid 2 for instance, you would improve your maximum heal by 30% over novice medic. For example, if you were healing 400 points with your B stimpack, you would now be able to heal 520 points.


The "Med Use" skillmod only allows you to use more advanced stimpacks. Of course, the more advanced stimpacks (C, D, E) all have a base heal which is increasingly higher --- E is better than D is better than C ... etc.


If you want the absolute best heals, you would go for 4040. A good way to spend 14 points is to go 2030 (heal bleeds and use C stims).
