I know what the in game description says, but what is it. Is it a component of something else, or do I need to make one and use it now as a noob medic?
Thanks

Lol this is maybe the 6 time i have seen this question on this board. Please read the boards before posting a question. But I'll answer it.
BEC is a component needed for higher lvl packs. It requires 6 org and 6 inorg.
Example: Stim B 12 org 12 inorg 1 chem release duration (8 chem 8 org) 1 liquid suspension (8 water 8 org) and 1 BEC (6 org 6 inorg).
Hope that answers your question.

Bleh I just found it, someone used an acronym instead of the name. That is why I didn't see it.
Thanks

I've just started a medic, I was just curious what a biological effects controller is.....and the other one ......(not the stim pack i know what that is) that a novice medic can craft. Ive done a search on the internet and other forums, but cant find any explanation as to what they do or how they are used.
Thanks

The Bio Effect Controller (BEC) is a basic component which is used in pretty much all the medicines you will make (besides the Stimpack-A). The other components which are used in medicines are the Chemical Release Duration Mechanism (CRDM) and the Liquid Suspension (LS).
The LS and CRDM both add power/strength to your medicine, while the BEC adds charges (number of uses) and a little bit of power to the meds.

BEC, CRDM and LS are used in the Stimpack-B. Substitute the Solid Delivery Shell (SDS) for the LS when you are making a Woundpack-B.

Well I guess I'll bite.
A BEC is a medical component used in stim packs, wound packs, state cures, buff packs, etc. You can experiment them in two categories, effectiveness which adds to their "power", or charges.
If you found the item on a mob, just delete it. It's not worth keeping, and I doubt anyone is going to buy it from you.
