hi there medics,
a desperated swordsman has a question about firstaid and NS Bleeds.
I had 1040 at medic at the point of the 9.25.
After fighting the ns as usualy (well took more damage, but it was nothing i couldnt handle),
I was hit from some nasty bleeds, 400-800 to all over the HAM.
I could counter that with some stim Ds and thought that i could drop tka 0004 to tka 0003 and get first aid.
Made that change today and gone try it.
I never succed to heal a damn bleed. The bleed were decresed but not healed for several times (1-4).
What lvl should I have at medic to cure those damn nasty ns bleeds?
My current medic lvl is 2040
THX in advance

The /firstaid skill ONLY heals 100 points of the bleed at a time. So, if you were hit with a 400 point bleed, it would take four applications of the /firstaid skill.
You cannot do anything to improve this. It's hard coded at 100, as far as I know.

It's not hard coded, it's tied to injury treatment. It's 300 at master medic I believe. Instead of 100 at novice.

I have read somthing about a bug that prevents /firstaid to work as it should be.
Maybe is that my problem?
What about bleeds stacking?
Any1 got more info about this bug?

I'm a master doc, and healing NS bleed takes me 4 to 6 hits to stop.
Is this a new thing or what?

That bug was fixed on TC quite a while back. The NS bleeds are just nasty. It takes my Master Doc 2 or 3 tries to heal them on my groupmates when they get tagged.

Actually I think the problem is they will stack bleeds on you. We lost the ability to stack bleeds but NPC's seem to still have it. If you dont heal your first bleed you may soon find yourself bleeding even worse. The high level Nightsisters do huge bleeds now. You have to get them treated quickly before they get worse. I like it myself since it makes Nightsisters fun for some actual group content. Something we have not had in a while.

As a master swordsman who's solo'd more than one elder and countless sisters here's my thought. First aid is handy, but not necessary if you can use stim D's. I was recently TKA 4304, Fencer 2400, Master Brawler, Master 2-Handed, Medic 2040 and it worked very nicley against elders. Granted it takes some practice getting to know how to keep a fight like that going your way, but I found that first aid was more important than say 2 more blocks of fencer would be.
