It is always nice to have the ability to heal myself, but sadly I have to give up novice medic, in order to advance towards my other professions. So my question is:

Is it possible to have clothing attachments which grants my the +5 injury needed to use stims B, even if I ain't a medic?

Fraid not. Novice medic is 100% required.

Novice Medic is required due to the fact the /healdamage command is necessary in order to use stims.

Additionaly, the modifier you need isn't injury treatment, it's medicine use.The only way to get that (along with the /healdamge command)is with novice medic.

So, I'm sorry for being thick here, you can't even use stim-A's without Novice Medic?

Correct.

And no a dispensing droid cannot help you either (unless it is controlled by another player).

If you don't want to spend the skill points on Novice Medic, you do have at least three other options available to you:

1) Get some game-breaking buffs from a Master Doctor. Even with triple-layered Composite, you'll regenerate your HAMs faster than most MOBs can even hurt you, and you won't kill yourself by using specials in combat. No Medic Required (TM).

2) Skip the game-breaking buffs from a Master Doctor, and get some more balanced buffs from some quality Chef foods. You'll still take damage, you won't regenerate as quickly, and your specials will still hurt you, but you won't get completely owned in combat if you pace yourself. No Medic Required (TM).

3) Skip the game-breaking buffs from a Master Doctor, skip the more balanced buffs from some quality Chef foods, and actually take along a completely seperate player who is a Medic. You can do the fighting, and the other guy can do the Medic thing and keep you alive. With the current state of the game, there are actually quite a few Medics who want to go outside in the light and actually heal people who get hurt, instead of staying inside a Hospital all day poking stims into the I.V. of some tumbler AFK bot.

I can't wait until they balance these stupidly powerful Doctor buffs in the Mythical Combat Revamp (TM). Why didn't they see this coming? They didn't see 80% Composite or 75% Ubese coming either, and these things are all as common as the air we breathe! Did they seriously think that people were going to use current-shift crap-qualityresources to craft everything anew, week by week?
