Well, it seems exploding starships are keeping the med centres full these days .. marvellous stuff for medics or Novice Docs grinding xp.

I would like to make a suggestion to those medics in there trying to get xp .. please wear your Medic title. As a Master Doc, I will usually stop by the med centre if I am nearby to see if anyone needsmedical help. Lately, there have been quite a few people needing help. I try not to step on anyone's toes, if there's a medic working in there I will not heal unless I feel there's more patients than they can handle .. after all, I don't need the med xp, and it's hard enough to come by without exploits. But sometimes it takes a long time between heals for a Novice Medic who's just starting out in the prof, and if they're running back and forth between patients it's difficult to tell if a patient is being tended to. If the medic is busythey may not see my /say asking if anyone is working on a particular patient, and there's lots of people sitting down. Somemay behealing, most are waiting. A couple times I have wiped out hundreds of xp for someone in one fast woundpack-C shot because I didn't realize there was a medic working the centre. If it were me I'd be aggravated too.

So please medics .. if you're working the centre, or even just there to heal a friend, pleaseswitch towear your title. Easier thenfor everyone to identify your role there.

I wish there were more Master Doctors like you.

I've just starteda new character as a medic and trying to get xp is not easy.

I was in the Bestine Med centre healing a couple of people, when a master Doc came in. He went up to them and healed all of their wounds. I had my novice Medic title and it was easy to see that I was trying to heal them. I asked him why he did it because he didn't need the xp. His reply was simply "Because I can and I wanted them to give me some money." This annoyed me a little, so I explained that I really needed the xp and it was unusual for the med centre to be empty of medics. He began to flame me and started calling me a noob, then he said if I ever made it to master Doc he was going to follow me around and offer buffs to all my customers for free. He soon ended up on my ignore list.

It's spontaneous and it's called wit

Like any profession, there are those who thrive onmaking it difficult for the rest. Thanks for not thinking all docs are like him. Like he needs the 500 or 1000 credits hemight get for a few heals.
