hey im 4/4/4/3 in medic and i just started on organ chem 4 and i tried to craft small stimpack a's but they give me like 30 exp and i need 6000. i know i should craft b's but b's take so much stuff. i was just wonderin if anyone had a crafting macro for small stimpack a's. im on ahazi and if anyone knows a macro just send me a tell in game to eovoore toge or just reply on this forum

Indeed ABECs are, but the original poster is grinding to GET Org. Chem. 4, where the ABECs live ... maybe try grinding a component in practice mode? At this point, I doubt you're using them, but if you are (to get a head start on Doc or CM), just remember the usage bonus is nice...

You can grind fairly efficiently on just ordinary BEC's -- they're 36xp each in practice mode. Not a lot of xp each, but then you don't need a heck of a lot either to master organic chem or Doctor's crafting. Run 5 or 6 crafting tools with a crafting macro and it goes fairly quickly. ABEC's give you better xp, but then you're using up pretty expensive resources if you have to buy them. BEC's use whatever old organics (this includes flora and wood!)and inorganics you happen to have lying around. Some tips on craft grinding from an ex-Master Weaponsmith:

- use a macro (Google is your friend here)and a whole row of crafting tools. Experiment with the pauses to see how fast you can click. I was down to /pause 3..

- empty your inventory of everything that could be used to make the item except the 2 piles of resources you're grinding with. This way you don't have to hunt for your choices in the resource selection screen.

- Always grind either next to your crafting station or with your droid. If you grind sometimes with a crafting station, and sometimes without, it will mess up the schematic numbers, which in turn will mess up your macro. I would suggest grinding at thepublic station or with your droidoutside the med centre so you're close to training.

- ***** Set your Windows mouse driver to interpret a middle-mouse click as a double-click. You then only have to middle-click on the resources while crafting -- this is a huge timesaver and really accelerates the craft grinding process.

- Know your xp cap. Nothing more frustrating than to be grinding away, and realize you capped several minutes (or longer!)ago. Move the windows around so you can see the xp window and hover over it every once in awhile - if it's a dead even number chances are you've capped.

- Realize that even at 6 or 8 units per item, you are going to go through a truckload of resources very quickly, especially if you're going to continue up the Doc crafting tree. If you have the SP it's worth getting Novice Artisan at least temporarilyso you can survey and place some harvesters -- it's the difference between paying 0.3-0.5cpu and 2-3cpu. Get one BER4 Flora Farm and one BER4 personal mineral harvester and some power (each use 25 units of power/hour). BER4 harvesters are about 1000cr at your localdeed vendor. Anothersource of organics is if you have some buddies grinding scouting xp.
