im med 4/1/2/2 and im no longer gaining med exp when i craft what am i doing wrong?

Do you have enough XP to buy the next box?
The maximum XP you can earn is twice the XP required for the next box. Once you hit that cap, you will not gain any more XP until you use some XP (such as buying a skill box).

Also, if what Houdani said is not the case, try logging out for a half hour. I've had this happen to me before, mostly with scouting xp though.

this has been happening for several months now im stuck on 1970 med crafting exp, the third box of the fourth collum is half way full. no matter what craft (stim a, stim b, biological effect controller, liquid suspension) nothing seems to work

If he hasn't logged out for a couple months then he wins the hardcore award. That or the afk tumbler award.

Are you using a crafting macro?
If so, do not sit in the same building or near a Crafting Station. You don't get any xp becuase of the experimentation windows that come up and it cancels out the crafting and you get no xpbecuase the commands in the macro are for non-experiemtal crafting. This happened to me when I was grinding the crafting tree as well.
