I was once a Doctor some time ago but never did much crafting. My question is: Can stim C's and D's come with MU under 40 or not? I thought they did but can't seem to find any on my server.

i bought some c's on the bazzar which were mu 30 but these are the onlyones i have seen

Definately they start out at 32 or so I think on a C, and you can easily experiment that down to 30. You can even get a D down to 30 but its not worth it, you may as well make a C.

thanks for the replies. I think I found out out somewhere else on these boards that you can even get stim E's at 40 MU. Now just to find some.

Yes, stim Es can be Med Use 40, but they're not much better than a D like that and use a fair bit more resources. They're only really worth the trouble for a doctor with better than 10 points to craft with to make, I think...

wOOt found crates of 40 mu E's 1213 powers 59 charges in crates of 50. 500k a crate.

well worth it tho.

Partially correct. You are correct that it really takes a 12-point doc to makes these well. You are correct that they can take a lot of resources (but keep reading to see ways around this). You are incorrect with regards to quality. 1100 power 40 med use veggie stim Es are deinitely possible, which is a significant improvement over Stim Ds.

Now about the cost - the big cost of a Stim E is the ABECs. But you can make these with regular BECs and come out way ahead on cost and power.

A 1075 power/62 charge veggie stim E (made with ABECs) takes 176 resources

A 825 power/54 charge veggie Stim D (made with ABECs) takes 132 resources

A 625 power/48 charge vieggie Stim C takes 92 resources

A 1075 power/48 charge veggie Stim E (made with regular BECs) takes 104 resources.

The best 40 med use value is easily the Stim E made with regular BECs.
