I was thinking about this the other day. I know that I've said before that I was against a groupmate damage beacon, but after another month of playing medic, I'm beginning to see the usefulness. Now I'm on the fence. In any case, the groupmate damage beacon idea made me wonder about a "wound beacon."
I spend most of my healing time in the medical center, healing wounds. Although most of the time it's empty in there, there are also times when there are many people, and I can't quite keep track of the loiterers, AFKers, the tumblers, the tumbler healers, other medics, and the people who actually need wound healing. So I figure a wound beacon would be a pretty nifty idea.
As a medic (and doctor and combat medic) I figure it would make sense for me to be able to get a general idea of a person's wounds just by taking a glance at them. I assume that the devs won't be making any new walk/run/stand animations for wounded people, so what else do I have to go on? Just the HAM bars. The problem is, I have no idea how bad a patient's secondary stat wounds are.
I am not asking for a replacement for diagnose. I am just saying, this would be useful for medics who hang out in medical centers.

Why not add a tag overour head just like the "looking for group" and "helper". A "Looking for heal" tag. You put up the tag when you need to get healed
