I'm a Twi'Lek Combat Medic.

Is 500 willpower gonna be enough of am i gonna be killing myself wanting Mind to regen faster all the time? (the 1300mind is nice on this race)

I've crafted up healwound health medpack a and when i use them on poeple in the hospital i'm getting poeple healed about 8-22 range. Ihave all 4 of the level 1 medic skills. Is this "normal", seems very low.

Same issue with healwound action stuff i have the lvl A suplies and getting 12-24 range on action wound heals. Normal?

The time between healwound is 23 seconds, again seems long to me. Takes me literally 30+minutes to heal up someone beat up badly. Normal?

What the heck is the biological effectcontainer and how is it used?

How do i get medicines? I've only been using stimpacks.

How do i experiment to make better stimpacks and other med supplies?

Poeple keep giving me 100cr for healwounds(like if i did 30 of them) and some have asked me if that's appropriate tip. I'm kinda thinking more like 500 would be appropriate, is that to much? What are other medics getting?

Does sitting on a bed in the hospital really help people healwound faster?

Does the patient having alot of battle fatigue hurt my ability to heal him any?

Need general tips on how to get more experience fast, these 16 (on average) /healwound health are only getting me about 40 experience per 25 seconds.

ok i can answer a few but i go up doc tree not CM

Willpower,,i keep at 600 but 500 should be good if you get rests between battles. As for med packs,,you are using A's i assume or /tendwound,,yes that is normal. The B's heal between 30-80 for me. The medic tree is for stims,,the doctor tree improves the wound packs.

The time is normal, Once you get in Doctor tree again,,speeds up. In beta at master Doc, i was healing every 5 seconds aprox and for 700 wounds/shot.

A bio effect container is a part of med packs above A's. You will also need a Solid Delivery and a Chem Release. Then you grab all these and go to a public crafting station and assemble them.

To get medicines you first need OC1 which you get from crafting XP. You will also need a Food +Chem tool.

Experiment at the public crafting station. Every city has one or two. You will need the Food and Chem station.

As for tips,,it's all relevant. Appropriate depends but it usualy ranges from 1-3cr/wound. Depends on your speed and how wounded they are. At higher levels,,you should expect more, and never insult the patient,,if he gives bow and say ty all the time,,just ignore them if they really cheap a couple of times.

Beds do not help and yes BF greatly affects healing, if someone comes in with lots of mind wounds i send them to cantina first or i dont touch them.

The higher end Med packs give more xp,,i'm making about 200/shot right now but again,,it's relevant since you need 2k to upgrade i need 15k.

Welcome to being a poor medic. The heals that you are getting are about average. The downtime is the same. The lack of tip is about the same. Read the rest of the board, all the medics are saying the same thing. People come in with 500 wounds to all stats, you heal for an hour then run off. Same problem in beta. The only ways to heal are tend wounds and stim packs. At least now, you get XP for tendwound ( they took it away in beta). 1500 mind is great, 500 will is great as well. Personally, I like to get my own resources and learn brawler skills, but I understand that not everyone does. But not getting paid stinks. Anyway, have fun.

My 2 cents....

Yup, those numbers sound like you are off to a great start as a medic! As a novice medic, the healing will seem painfully slow, the tips will be often absent and your praise nonexistant. If you 'encourage' tipping of credits or components, expect to be branded as greedy. Welcome to the real world, sounds a lot like the current 'health care concerns' in America today. The truth is, medics cannot train without a great deal of credits, and heal much more slowly without the medicines. Education of the masses is key, I think. The players with 4 or 5 wound points who burst into the clinic demanding immediate attention will continue to annoy. I ask them to take a seat and remind them there were people ahead of them (occasionally hinting for a little monetary encouragement). Usually, by the time I am finished with the patient I was treating, the annoying individual with the splinter has healed on his own and will be on his way.

I agree with the previous thoughts on BF, I am considering making a macro to remind people to heal mind wounds/BF first, as this slows down the healing process (as well as encouraging tips).

Either way, be polite. If they tip, be polite. If they don't be polite. There have been several incidents in live already where I've healed ungrateful individuals who returned with buddies singing my praises who tipped generously. What goes around, comes around!
