I have a quick question. I am a scout who during beta and the start of the game has had a great deal of trouble getting my wounds healed. Sitting in my campsite for an hour just doesn't do it for me. What is the easiest way for me to become proficient enough to cure my own wounds in a campsite? Can i just buy the materials i need to cure my wounds or do i have to make them? What do i need to study in the medic tree to just be able to heal wounds in the middle of a planet? Any advise would be appreciated. I know so little about the medic profession that it is not funny. please dumb it down and pretend you are explaining to a 6 year old because I really know very little about this. Thanks for any input.

If you were in beta then you are probably used to the camp autohealing wounds. We were spoiled, it seems the game doesn't allow this anymore.
As for quick answer to your question, minimum you need to heal wounds is novice medic (15 skill points). But you won't be able to craft your own wound healing medicines, you would have to buy them from a medic (one of themwill probably sell them to you, medics are always near broke, andmany would surely trade them for harvested organics).

My advice to you Kilquarn is to get Novice Medic so you can make Medpack-A's, or at the cost of Mind Wounds you can alsouse the /tendwound and /tenddamage which are invaluable in the wilderness (their great alone or in group). If you get Novice Entertainer you can also heal mind wounds in camp, but unfournately your Battle Fatigue doesn't go down, but if try it in a Cantina, or Hotel it will go down. Despite what many think you can heal your own battle fatigue, or mind wounds with Novice Entertainer.
