Medic Archive

I've mastered medic and I'm having trouble deciding if I should go with combat medic or doctor. I plan on doing alot of group fighting but I'd also like to spend time in the med center helping out when I don't feel up to the hunt. Because of other secondary skills I won't have enough points for both. What are the pros and cons of one or the other and vise versa?
