Thread: How to diagnose stat wounds?
Hi,
I'm wondering whether there is a more reliable and "medical" way than asking a patient to discover whether he or she has stat wounds (stregnth, constitution, quickkness, ...).
It just seems like something a doctor would be able to diagnose and, while my novice medic tries to find a way to present this question in character, I'd prefer a reliable way to establish a diagnosis.
So does it exist?
Many thanks,
Wendelius
However, can determine whether a patient has any stat wounds with the radial menu. If you have medpacks for the secondary stats and you open a patient's radial menu and mouse-over Heal Wound, you will get a dropdown with the types of wounds you can heal on this patient. They may have as little as 1 point of wounds in the stat, though, so be prepared to waste medpacks.
Many thanks for the reply. I'll definitely send feedback on this in-game. It would be great to see an improvement in that area.

I wrote a suggestion for the /dianose ability at:
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=medic&message.id=548
(I'd have posted this as a regular HTML hyperlink but the forums won't let me). Take a gander and let me know (on that thread) what you think. Thanks.
If it helps for now I use this macro:
/tendwound health
/tendwound strength
/tendwound constitution
/tendwound action
/tendwound stamina
/tendwound speed (I forget this last one but you see where i'm going)
I set it to the skull icon
and I hit this when their HAM bars look clean and then pay attention to which one it says it heals. I start manually healing that one then when that one is clean I use my "diagnostics" macro again to search the stats again..
Presto Diagnostics!
It is a shame that there isn't a built in diagnostics and this does spam a bit but it works for me.
Now I gotta go home and see if I can set this up as an alias too. Just read about them a minute ago.
at org 3, make the sub HAM stat meds and change the macro from...
/tendwound
to
/healwound
and I split up the macro to health and action, but I supose the one macro is cool too
new meds= nomore mind damge for healing wounds =-)
I like the Idea of splitting the Action and Health bars Lokee, 2 different diag buttons sounds great.
I just got to level 3 today so yeah I decided the same thing only slightly different:
I modified it to:
DiagnoseHealth:
/tendwound health
/healwound health
/tendwound strength
/healwound strength
/tendwound constitution
/healwound constitution
That way if i'm out of meds it'll immediately use /tend to follow it up.
At this point it's a bit overkill though i suppose.
Ooh. Thanks for the macro suggestions. That will definitely come in handy.
