Hi all, I have reached the Diagnostic 3 level and have noticed that it still takes 4 seconds to use stimpacks and 24 seconds to use wound packs. It has always been that speed. The + to treatment speed is not increasing as advertiesed by the Diagnostic skill window.
Is something broke here? Or amI doing something wrong??
Thanks

Diagnostics does not increase wound treatment speed and is not intended to do so. The only way to reduce the wait between wound treatments to advance in the Doctor's Wound Treatment Speed skill line.
In beta it did seem to reduce the number of seconds on damage heals (stimpacks)... but I haven't reached that point in retail yet.

Umm, well it says it increases "treatment speed' doesnt specify which kind. The point is it does not increase ANYTHING right now.. Wound or Damage... it should or may as well not even have that stat.

oh, check that out, there is injury_treatment_speed and wound_treatment_speed. I've only kept track of wound timers. let me double check /tenddamage and /healdamage timers again now that im at diag2

I'll chime in because I'm bored. Diagnostic only changes injury treatment speed which is stim usage. It has no affect on wound healing. This is how it's intended to be.

When I started my character after the game launched, it took me 10 seconds per stimpack heal at Novice Medic. I timed it. Now that I'm at Novice Doctor, it takes 5 seconds. The Diagnostics line is only SUPPOSED to help stimpack usage, not wound pack usage. And as far as I can tell, it does.
